Safety: Calcium oxalate crystals — mouth and throat irritation if chewed. See pet-safe alternatives.
In UAE homes: Droops visibly when thirsty and recovers within hours, which makes it the best plant to learn UAE watering rhythm on. Also grows indefinitely in a jar of water, sidestepping soil entirely.
Watering figures are ranges, not schedules — pot size, light and the season shift them. Check the top 2-3cm of soil and water only when it is dry. From the UAE Plant Index.

Golden Pothos: common questions
Is golden pothos the same as the money plant?
Yes. In the UAE, India and Pakistan the money plant is Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum). The same name is used elsewhere for the jade plant, Pachira money tree and Pilea, but a Dubai nursery saying money plant means pothos.
How often should I water golden pothos in Dubai?
Water when the top 2–3cm of soil is dry: roughly every 10–14 days in an air-conditioned room and weekly on a warm, bright windowsill in summer. Pothos droops slightly when thirsty and recovers within hours, so err on the dry side.
Is golden pothos safe for cats and dogs?
No. Pothos contains calcium oxalate crystals that irritate the mouth and cause drooling or vomiting if chewed, so it is not in our pet-safe range. For a non-toxic trailing plant choose String of Hearts or Spider Plant.

Why buy from us
Grown for UAE homes, not just sold here.
Most plants sold in the UAE were grown outdoors, moved indoors, and handed over in a grow pot with no aftercare. We acclimatise ours to air-conditioned air first, pot them properly, insulate them against the drive, and stay on WhatsApp after the box is open.
