How often should I water a ZZ plant in the UAE?
In the UAE, water a ZZ plant every 2–3 weeks — let the top 5cm of soil dry out completely between waterings. In an air-conditioned room water less often; on a warm balcony, slightly more. ZZ plants store water in their rhizomes, so under-watering is far safer than over-watering, which causes root rot.
