Safety: Calcium oxalate crystals — mouth irritation if chewed. See pet-safe alternatives.
In UAE homes: Splits its leaves only in genuinely bright indirect light — a dim corner gives you a healthy plant with plain, unfenestrated leaves. Brown crispy edges here usually mean hard tap water, not underwatering.
Watering figures are ranges, not schedules — pot size, light and the season shift them. Check the top 2-3cm of soil and water only when it is dry. From the UAE Plant Index.

Monstera Deliciosa: common questions
How big is the Monstera deliciosa you deliver in Dubai?
It arrives in a 17cm nursery pot at roughly 60–80cm tall including the pot (an estimate, not a measured spec) for AED 145. Indoors in a bright UAE room it grows to about 1–1.8m over a few years, so give it floor space rather than a shelf.
Is Monstera deliciosa toxic to cats and dogs?
Yes. The ASPCA lists Monstera (sold as split-leaf philodendron) as toxic to cats and dogs: calcium oxalate crystals cause mouth irritation, drooling and vomiting if a leaf is chewed. It is not in our pet-safe range; an areca palm gives a similar tropical look and is non-toxic.
Does a Monstera need a moss pole?
Not to survive, but it helps. Monstera is a climber, and a plant given something to climb produces larger leaves with more splits than one left to sprawl. Add a moss or coir pole when you repot, and tie the thick stem to it loosely as it grows.

Why buy from us
Grown for UAE homes, not just sold here.
Most plants sold in the UAE were grown outdoors, moved indoors, and handed over in a grow pot with no aftercare. We acclimatise ours to air-conditioned air first, pot them properly, insulate them against the drive, and stay on WhatsApp after the box is open.
