Safety: Saponins — vomiting and drooling if cats or dogs chew the leaves. See pet-safe alternatives.
In UAE homes: The single most forgiving plant for a UAE apartment: it stores water in its leaves, so dry AC air and a fortnight away change nothing. Overwatering is the only realistic way to kill it.
Watering figures are ranges, not schedules — pot size, light and the season shift them. Check the top 2-3cm of soil and water only when it is dry. From the UAE Plant Index.

Snake Plant 'Laurentii': common questions
Are snake plants safe for cats and dogs?
Snake plants (Sansevieria) are mildly toxic to cats and dogs and can cause drooling, vomiting, or diarrhoea if chewed, so they are not on our pet-safe list. For a genuinely non-toxic option in the UAE, choose from our pet-safe range such as parlour palm, calathea, or areca palm.
How often should I water a snake plant in Dubai?
Water a snake plant every 2–3 weeks, letting the soil dry completely between waterings. In an AC-cooled Dubai apartment the soil stays damp longer, so err on the side of under-watering — snake plants rot from too much water, not too little.

Why buy from us
Grown for UAE homes, not just sold here.
Most plants sold in the UAE were grown outdoors, moved indoors, and handed over in a grow pot with no aftercare. We acclimatise ours to air-conditioned air first, pot them properly, insulate them against the drive, and stay on WhatsApp after the box is open.
