Safety: Linalool and linalyl acetate — mild nausea in cats and dogs if eaten. See pet-safe alternatives.
In UAE homes: A winter plant here, not a year-round one. Lavender wants full sun with dry air and cool nights — it performs from November to April on a UAE balcony and usually gives up in the summer humidity.
Watering figures are ranges, not schedules — pot size, light and the season shift them. Check the top 2-3cm of soil and water only when it is dry. From the UAE Plant Index.

Lavender: common questions
Is lavender safe for cats and dogs?
No. The ASPCA lists lavender as toxic to cats and dogs: its linalool and linalyl acetate cause nausea and vomiting if a pet eats a quantity of it. Brushing past it is harmless, but it is not in our pet-safe range. For a pet-safe scented plant, choose Arabian jasmine.
What size is the lavender plant, and which pot does it fit?
It arrives in a 12cm nursery pot at roughly 25–35cm tall (an estimate). It drops straight into our 13cm White Ceramic Pot - Small, but lavender does best in terracotta with gritty soil, which dries faster than glazed ceramic.

Why buy from us
Grown for UAE homes, not just sold here.
Most plants sold in the UAE were grown outdoors, moved indoors, and handed over in a grow pot with no aftercare. We acclimatise ours to air-conditioned air first, pot them properly, insulate them against the drive, and stay on WhatsApp after the box is open.
