Made for UAE homes
Ruellia Blue Tray — 6 Plants makes a room feel alive.
Six ruellia — the Mexican petunia used across UAE landscaping because it opens a fresh set of violet-blue flowers every morning, from spring to late autumn, on almost no attention. Clumps to about 60cm and spreads to fill a bed. Full sun to part shade, water every 2 days while it establishes, then twice weekly. Cut it to the ground in February and it comes back thicker.

In UAE homes: Opens a fresh set of violet-blue flowers every morning from spring to late autumn; cut the clump to the ground in February and it returns thicker.
Watering figures are ranges, not schedules — pot size, light and the season shift them. Check the top 2-3cm of soil and water only when it is dry. From the UAE Plant Index.

Ruellia Blue Tray — 6 Plants: common questions
How long do ruellia flowers last?
Each individual ruellia flower lasts a single day, then drops — and a fresh set opens the next morning. The plant is in continuous flower from spring to late autumn in the UAE, so the daily turnover is invisible unless you look for it.
Does ruellia spread too much in a UAE garden?
Ruellia simplex spreads by runners and seed, and in an irrigated bed it will fill the space you give it. Plant it where spread is the point — mass planting, bed filling, bank stabilising — and edge it twice a year. It is not the plant for a small, tightly designed border.

Why buy from us
Grown for UAE homes, not just sold here.
Most plants sold in the UAE were grown outdoors, moved indoors, and handed over in a grow pot with no aftercare. We acclimatise ours to air-conditioned air first, pot them properly, insulate them against the drive, and stay on WhatsApp after the box is open.
