Safety: Milky latex sap — irritant to mouth and skin. See pet-safe alternatives.
In UAE homes: One of the few large-leaved statement plants that tolerates dry AC air without crisping. Wipe the leaves monthly — Gulf dust dulls them fast and blocks light.
Watering figures are ranges, not schedules — pot size, light and the season shift them. Check the top 2-3cm of soil and water only when it is dry. From the UAE Plant Index.

Rubber Plant: common questions
Is a rubber plant good for a home with the AC on all day?
It is one of the best large-leaf choices for that. Ficus elastica has high tolerance for cool, dry air-conditioned air and does not crisp at the edges the way a fiddle leaf fig or calathea does. Give it bright indirect light, water when the top 5cm is dry, and wipe the leaves monthly because Gulf dust dulls them fast.
How big is the rubber plant you sell?
It arrives in a 17cm nursery pot at roughly 70–90cm including the pot (an estimate) for AED 129. Indoors it grows into a 1–1.8m tree over a few years; pinch the top to make it branch instead of growing as a single stem.
Is rubber plant sap harmful to pets or children?
The milky latex sap irritates the mouth and skin, so it is not in our pet-safe range. Wear gloves when pruning, wipe up any drips, and keep fallen leaves away from pets that chew plants.

Why buy from us
Grown for UAE homes, not just sold here.
Most plants sold in the UAE were grown outdoors, moved indoors, and handed over in a grow pot with no aftercare. We acclimatise ours to air-conditioned air first, pot them properly, insulate them against the drive, and stay on WhatsApp after the box is open.
