# What happens if no one is home when my plants are delivered?

**Short answer:** The driver calls you and messages on WhatsApp. If you cannot be reached, we do not leave live plants in a lobby, at a door or with security in the heat; we bring them back and reschedule for the next available slot at no extra charge the first time. Tell us early if you need to move a delivery window.

Live plants are the one parcel that cannot sit outside. A Dubai lobby or doorway in summer can reach temperatures that stress a plant within an hour, and heat damage from an unattended drop is not something the alive-on-arrival guarantee can cover. So we always hand over in person.
Before dispatch you receive a WhatsApp message with your delivery window. If it does not suit you, reply and we move it. If you know you will be out, you can nominate a neighbour, a building reception that is air-conditioned, or your office as the drop point.
For gifts, we confirm the recipient's availability discreetly and only mention the sender if you ask us to. Repeated missed deliveries may incur a second delivery fee, which we will always tell you about first.
