# Vinca Tray — 6 Plants

The annual that survives into summer

- Price: AED 59 (was AED 79)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 20-30 cm per plant · 10 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Catharanthus roseus
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Vinca alkaloids throughout the plant — vomiting, tremors and worse if a dog or cat eats any quantity.

Six vinca (Madagascar periwinkle) — glossy leaves and flat five-petal flowers, and the only common annual here that carries on through UAE heat when the petunias have given up. Plant October, keep it going to June. Full sun, water every 2 days, do not overwater. Toxic if eaten — site away from pets.

UAE note: The one bedding annual that does not quit in July. Vinca flowers straight through a Dubai summer on full sun and lives on less water than anything else with a flower on it — the exception that proves the winter-annual rule.
