# Traveller's Palm (Ravenala) — 200cm

A fan of paddles, two metres wide

- Price: AED 899 (was AED 1199)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 190-210 cm tall · 45 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Ravenala madagascariensis
- Pet safety: non-toxic to cats and dogs (ASPCA)

Ravenala madagascariensis opens its paddle leaves into a flat fan — the most architectural plant we sell and a genuine statement against a plain villa wall or at a driveway entrance. Wants full sun, generous water and shelter from strong wind, which tears the leaves. Delivered and placed.

UAE note: Not a palm, and thirstier than one — the fan is spectacular but it needs consistent irrigation, and Gulf wind shreds the leaves into ribbons. Give it a sheltered corner and a drip line, or choose a foxtail instead.
