# Yellow Oleander (Thevetia)

Flowers through the worst of summer

- Price: AED 79 (was AED 105)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 70-95 cm tall · 22 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Cascabela thevetia
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Severely toxic. Every part contains cardiac glycosides and the seeds are potentially fatal to children, cats and dogs. Wear gloves when pruning.

Thevetia carries waxy yellow bell flowers on narrow glossy foliage right through the months when a UAE garden is at its hardest — full sun, reflected wall heat, minimal water. Grows as a large shrub or trains to a small tree. Important: every part is toxic if eaten, the seeds seriously so. Do not plant it where small children or pets play, and wash your hands after pruning. Full sun, water weekly once established.

UAE note: Flowers through peak summer on minimal water against reflected wall heat — but its toxicity rules it out of any garden used by small children or pets.
