# Yellow Bells Tree (Tecoma stans) — 30Ltr

Yellow trumpets, nine months a year

- Price: AED 199 (was AED 265)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 120-150 cm tall · 35 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Tecoma stans
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Seed pods cause stomach upset if eaten by dogs.

Tecoma stans is the upright, tree-forming yellow bells — a different plant from the orange Cape honeysuckle shrub, and the one that gives you a small flowering tree rather than a hedge. Clusters of bright yellow trumpets from autumn through spring, and it keeps going deep into the heat. Supplied at 30-litre. Full sun, deep water twice weekly, cut back hard in September for the heaviest winter flush.

UAE note: Forms an upright small tree, unlike the orange Cape honeysuckle that stays a shrub — cut it hard in September for the heaviest winter flowering.
