Most balcony plant deaths in Dubai come from buying sun-lovers for a shaded balcony. This is the other box: an outdoor areca palm, a croton, Arabian jasmine, a Boston fern and two rail planters — all of which prefer bright shade to direct afternoon sun. For north and east-facing apartments.
