# Sago Palm — Large 18Ltr

A living fossil, at full size

- Price: AED 499 (was AED 640)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 90-120 cm tall · 35 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Cycas revoluta
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Severely toxic. Every part, and the seeds most of all, causes liver failure in dogs and cats — often fatal. Do not buy this if you have pets that chew.

The same cycad as our standard Sago Palm, three grades up: a thick trunk and a full crown of stiff dark fronds, which is a decade of growth you are not waiting for. Slow, architectural, happy in a pot forever. Bright shade to part sun, water every 10-14 days. Important: every part of a cycad is toxic to cats, dogs and children if eaten — the seeds most of all. Keep it out of reach or choose another statement plant.

UAE note: A cycad this size is roughly a decade of growth; it will sit in the same pot for years here, and dislikes being moved between deep shade and full sun.
