# Red Pseuderanthemum

Deep burgundy foliage, no flowers needed

- Price: AED 49 (was AED 65)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 40-55 cm tall · 18 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Pseuderanthemum atropurpureum
- Pet safety: non-toxic to cats and dogs (ASPCA)

Grown for near-black burgundy leaves rather than flowers — the colour that makes a bed of green and yellow planting suddenly look designed. Compact, happy in part shade, and one of the few reliable dark-foliage plants for UAE conditions. Works as a low informal hedge or massed in front of taller shrubs. Part sun to bright shade (full afternoon sun scorches it), water twice weekly.

UAE note: One of the few dependable dark-foliage plants for this climate, but full July afternoon sun scorches the leaves — give it morning sun or bright shade.
