## Care in UAE conditions

- Watering: Deeply when the top few cm are dry: every 3-5 days in summer outdoors, every 7-10 days in the cool season
- Light: Full sun. Needs an open garden, terrace or sunny balcony
- Temperature: Handles UAE summer heat; fruits only after a couple of months of cool winter nights
- Humidity: Tolerates dry air well. Drainage matters more than humidity
- Soil: Gritty, free-draining mix; wide pot or in-ground, never standing in a saucer
- Feeding: Balanced slow-release fertiliser in February and again in September

UAE note: Mediterranean climate, so it handles Gulf heat and dry air easily — the risk is drainage, not drought. Never leave the pot standing in a saucer of water.
