# Portulaca Tray — 6 Plants

Full sun, full colour, no water

- Price: AED 49 (was AED 65)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 12-20 cm per plant · 10 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Portulaca grandiflora
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Soluble oxalates — a mouthful irritates; a large quantity is a problem for a small dog.

Six portulaca (moss rose) in a tray — succulent-leaved ground cover that flowers in hot pinks, oranges and yellows through the worst of the heat, on almost no water. The plant for the balcony corner that bakes. Full sun, water twice a week, done.

UAE note: A succulent pretending to be a bedding flower: it stores water in its leaves, so it survives the week you forget it in June. Flowers close in the afternoon — that is the species, not a problem.
