# Pomegranate Tree

Orange flowers, then fruit

- Price: AED 89 (was AED 119)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 80-100 cm tall · 24 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Punica granatum
- Pet safety: non-toxic to cats and dogs (ASPCA)

Punica granatum is built for this climate — it flowers scarlet through spring and fruits in late summer, on a tree that tolerates heat, poor soil and gaps between waterings. Deciduous in winter, which surprises first-time growers. Full sun, deep water weekly, feed in spring.

UAE note: Native to this climate band and it shows — pomegranate takes Gulf summer heat and saline soil better than any other fruit tree we sell. Drops its leaves for a few weeks in winter; that is dormancy, not death.
