# Plumbago 'Blue'

The only true blue in a UAE garden

- Price: AED 55 (was AED 75)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 50-70 cm tall · 20 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Plumbago auriculata
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Plumbagin in the sap irritates skin and the mouth. Mild, but wear gloves when you cut it back.

Plumbago auriculata carries sky-blue phlox-like flower heads through the warm months — a rare colour in this climate, and a soft counterweight to all the magenta bougainvillea. Sprawls loosely, so give it a rail or let it mound. Full to part sun, water twice weekly.

UAE note: One of very few genuinely blue flowers that hold colour through a Gulf summer. Sprawls rather than stands — give it something to lean on, or cut it hard twice a year and treat it as a mound.
