# Pentas & Lantana Colour Pair

Two shrubs that pull in butterflies

- Price: AED 69 (was AED 89)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 30-40 cm per plant · 16 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Pentas lanceolata + Lantana camara
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — The Lantana half is the problem: unripe green berries are genuinely toxic to dogs, cats and children, and the foliage causes liver damage in grazing animals. Pentas on its own is harmless.

A pair of the UAE's best small flowering shrubs: pentas with its star-cluster heads and lantana with its two-tone flower domes. Both flower nearly continuously in full sun, both are tough, and both bring butterflies to a balcony. Water every 2 days, shear lightly when flowering slows.

UAE note: The butterfly-and-bee pairing, and both halves flower through the summer when most bedding has given up. Buy it for a balcony you look at, not one a toddler plays on.
