# Peace Lily

Elegant air-purifier

- Price: AED 99
- Availability: out of stock
- Delivered size: approx. 45-60 cm tall · 14 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Spathiphyllum wallisii
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Calcium oxalate crystals — mouth and throat irritation if chewed.

Glossy leaves and serene white blooms that clean the air as they flower. The Peace Lily droops theatrically when thirsty - then bounces back within hours of watering. Happiest in low to medium light, away from AC drafts.

## Care in UAE conditions

- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Droops when thirsty
- Light: Low to medium indirect light. Avoid direct sun
- Temperature: 18-28°C - keep away from cold drafts
- Humidity: Loves high humidity. Great for bathrooms
- Soil: Rich, well-draining potting mix
- Feeding: Monthly in season with half-strength fertilizer

UAE note: Wilts dramatically when thirsty and stands back up within an hour of water, so it doubles as a moisture gauge for the plants around it. Happiest in a bathroom, where UAE humidity is highest.
