The icon. Big, glossy, split leaves that turn a corner into a jungle. Give it bright indirect light and weekly water; mist occasionally in AC air to keep edges crisp. New leaves split as it matures.

- Watering: Water when the top 5cm of soil are dry, usually weekly
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Tolerates some direct morning sun
- Temperature: 18-30°C - perfect for UAE indoor environments
- Humidity: Loves humidity. Mist regularly or use a pebble tray
- Soil: Well-draining potting mix with perlite
- Feeding: Monthly in spring and summer with balanced fertilizer

UAE note: Splits its leaves only in genuinely bright indirect light — a dim corner gives you a healthy plant with plain, unfenestrated leaves. Brown crispy edges here usually mean hard tap water, not underwatering.
