# Frangipani (Plumeria)

The scent of a hotel pool deck

- Price: AED 249 (was AED 329)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 110-140 cm tall · 30 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Plumeria rubra
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Milky sap is an irritant to skin, eyes and mouth.

Plumeria's cream-and-yellow pinwheel flowers carry a heavy, sweet evening perfume — the signature tree of UAE pool gardens and resort landscaping. Deciduous in cool months, back in leaf and flower by spring. Full sun, water weekly, stop watering when it drops its leaves. Sap is a skin irritant and toxic if eaten.

UAE note: Drops its leaves and stops in the cool months — that is dormancy, not death. Cut watering right back from December and it returns in spring.
