# Desert Rose (Adenium)

A bonsai trunk that flowers

- Price: AED 119 (was AED 159)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 35-50 cm tall · 20 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Adenium obesum
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Cardiac glycosides throughout the plant — genuinely dangerous to cats, dogs and children if eaten. Keep out of reach.

Adenium obesum — a swollen sculptural caudex topped with waxy pink-and-white trumpet flowers. A true desert plant: it wants full sun, fast-draining soil and far less water than you think. Water only when the soil is bone dry. Sap is toxic if ingested, so site it out of reach of pets and children.

UAE note: Native to the Arabian peninsula's climate and completely at home in UAE heat — the caudex stores water, so it is the lowest-maintenance flowering plant on a sunny balcony.
