Murraya koenigii gives you fresh curry leaves whenever you cook — infinitely better than the dried supermarket version, and it grows happily in a pot in UAE sun. Pick leaves from the top to keep it bushy. Bright light, water every 2 days, feed monthly in the growing season.

UAE note: Thrives in Gulf heat and is the single most-used leaf in South Asian home cooking here. Drops leaves below about 10°C on a January night and returns in spring.
