# Cordyline Red (Ti Plant)

Upright burgundy architecture

- Price: AED 175 (was AED 229)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 80-100 cm tall · 26 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Cordyline fruticosa
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Saponins — vomiting, drooling and dilated pupils in cats; stomach upset in dogs.

Deep burgundy sword leaves on an upright stem — structure and colour in one plant, and a strong contrast against pale villa walls or gravel. Takes bright light but keeps its colour best with some afternoon shade in summer. Water every 2 days, never let it dry out completely.

UAE note: Upright burgundy colour without a flower, which is what makes it useful in a planting scheme. Leaf tips brown in dry air and hard water — it is the first plant on a balcony to tell you your water is salty.
