# Cherry Tomato Plant

The winter crop that always works

- Price: AED 39 (was AED 55)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 35-50 cm tall · 14 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Solanine in the leaves, stems and unripe green fruit — the ripe tomato is fine, the plant is not.

Cherry tomatoes are the surest winter crop in the UAE — planted October to December they fruit heavily through spring on a balcony or in a garden bed. Supplied ready to stake. Full sun, water daily, feed fortnightly from first flower. Pinch side shoots to keep it productive.

UAE note: October to April is the entire UAE tomato season: above about 35°C the flowers abort and you get a healthy plant with no fruit. Plant in October, pick from December, pull it out in May.
