# Bougainvillea Bush

The UAE's hardest-working flowering shrub

- Price: AED 129 (was AED 179)
- Availability: in stock, ships same day in Dubai on orders before 1pm
- Delivered size: approx. 70-90 cm tall · 25 cm pot (estimate)
- Botanical name: Bougainvillea glabra
- Pet safety: not pet-safe — Sharp thorns, and sap that can irritate skin.

A well-branched 80cm bougainvillea in magenta, orange or white — the shrub you see flowering along every Dubai road in 45°C heat. Drought-tolerant once established, blooms nearly year-round in full sun. Thorny stems, so plant it away from walkways. Colour selected at dispatch unless you note a preference.

UAE note: The defining Gulf garden plant. It flowers hardest when slightly stressed, so resist overwatering — a bougainvillea kept too wet gives you leaves and no colour.
