## Care in UAE conditions

- Watering: Deeply when the top 5cm is dry: roughly every 7-10 days in an AC room, 4-7 days outdoors in summer
- Light: The brightest spot you have; a few hours of direct winter sun is fine, shade from harsh summer afternoon sun
- Temperature: Comfortable at 22-24°C indoors; protect leaves from scorching west windows June-September
- Humidity: Copes with average indoor humidity. Split leaves are normal, not damage
- Soil: Rich, well-draining mix; don't over-pot
- Feeding: Monthly in the growing season with a balanced liquid feed

UAE note: Wants the brightest spot in the apartment and will take a few hours of direct winter sun. Split leaves are normal and not damage — that is how the plant sheds wind load.
