# Statement Plants

One large plant does more for a room than five small ones, and it is easier to look after. Position matters more than species: a floor plant wants to stand within two metres of a window and out of the direct blast of an AC vent, which dries leaves faster than any Dubai afternoon.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best large indoor plant for a Dubai living room?

Bird of paradise for a bright room with a big window, and a tall snake plant or a large ficus where light is more modest. All three take villa-scale ceilings without needing daily attention. Avoid placing any of them directly under an AC vent — constant cold, dry airflow browns the leaf edges.

### How do you deliver large floor plants?

Large plants travel upright and secured, and are carried to the room you want them in rather than left at the door. Tell us at checkout if there is no lift or if access is tight, and check the height listed on the product page against your ceiling before ordering.
